Your favorite writer’s favorite writer. In the the 1990′s Odem was the name whispered all over Europe as being the definition of style and innovation within classic letter shapes. He definitely helped secure Berlin as one of our artform’s capitals, my condoleances to his family, crew and friends. Odem Rest in Peace

On a scorching hot day in the Lakota Nation at the @waniyetuwowapi. Shouts to el presidente @e_a_s_t_1 for making sure I didn’t pass out! Not so sure about that red outline, I should have taken the easy route with a light pink, but it is what it is…

When talking about Philadelphia graffiti you can’t miss King Kair. He had the roughest hoods on lock with throws, straightletters, rooftops and tags. All that while maintaining a raw reputation in the streets due to his other activities ofwhich I won’t get into. So imagine my surprise when I’m sitting in my college dorm, this little kid from Switzerland and @maseyoal calls me from downstairs and says: “yo i brought Kair…” and he sat in my dormroom with us for a couple hours dropping an incredible full wildstyle blackbook page. Pieces by Kair were rare, let alone complex wildstyles. It was a huge honor, and all the time he shared with us his huge love and knowledgeof graff styles. Considering his reputation, it was a lesson in humility and not judging people on their “job” or rep. That blackbook was taken by the cops when I got arrested with cointless flicks, and that Kair piece is what I moss the most out of it. That talk with him has stayed as an inspiration for keeping your love of an artform wherever life takes you. And shouts to Sere, Cese and @maseyoal for making sure this little kid from Switzerland always knew enough Philly history to not seem ignorant or lost !
