Sunny silver styles. Chrome was originally a bombing tool where I come from, and I have to credit @pre.cise for painting some of the illest silver burners I saw and making me love silver pieces so much!

My sister lived in Montreal for a while and when I would visit, one name was up all over the city with dope tags, throws and burners. I got to meet him quickly in 2004, and he was a super nice and friendly as well. Heard nothing but good about him and saw burner after burner that he dropped on the regular, Rest in Peace Mr.Scan @mrcan_do . My condoleances to his loved ones and friends, of which I know he had many.

1st book in graffiti in Geneva, 1992, the year I started graff as a toy.

I think I need to figure a ways to integrate these two fill patterns while maintaining the depth of the top one without softening the patterns of the bottom type. Top painted in Orpund at Royal Arena, bottom painted in Eagle Butte, Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Territory.

I moved to Philly in 1995, didn’t know anybody there, had no friends or family in the area. So I got a few cans and went painting solo in one of the areas where I had seen a little graff, around South St. got chased a couple times and finally met two writers about my age. One of them looked after me from near and far throughout my five years in the city, making sure I knew the codes, history and rules of Philly Graffiti. He also made sure I wasn’t alone on a holiday and I was safe. What amazes me is that even though his knowledge of styles and blueprints is thorough, he never pushed me to paint a certain way, always supporting whatever I did and my explorations in style. So to my old friend and founding father of the OAL crew, @maseyoal Salute! Miss you my man!! Thank you for making me Switzerland’s only Kenzo!

I don’t think I’ve ever painted as many pieces that I don’t like as this winter and spring. I feel like I’m completely missing the point on most letterings since last summer… here’s another failure from december, I like the A and that’s about it. I’m glad I’m taking off for three weeks with the fam with no painting at all to recharge, reflect and plan ahead to step out of this spiral of weak walls.

In 2016 I saw a golden eagle grab a bullsnake on the Dubray Ranch. A few weeks later the battle started to protect the water supply next to the ranch and I released a print to support the Nodapl movement and the Oceti Sakowin camp. And I feel very blessed that I got to return this year to the Cheyenne River Reservation and paint this image. Thank you to all who purchased the print and supported the cause against the black snake. Pilamayaye to Julie Garreau and the CRYP for inviting me and getting me this wall on Main St. Eagle Butte. Wopila to the amazingly supportive people of Eagle Butte and Eman and Daniel for the help. Shouts to @hydeslovelies for the help on the print.
